Book a £25 consultationLaser hair removal offers long-term hair reduction, but 'permanent' is a complex term. Most clients see 70-90% reduction after a full course. Hormonal changes can stimulate new growth over time, which is why some clients benefit from occasional maintenance sessions.
Most clients need between 6-10 sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart, depending on the area and hair type. Hormonal hair growth (such as PCOS-related hair) may require more sessions and ongoing maintenance.
Our Candela GentleMAX Pro has a built-in cooling system that makes treatments much more comfortable than older laser systems. Most clients describe it as a warm flick sensation. We always do a patch test first to assess your individual comfort level.
We use the Candela GentleMAX Pro which includes ND:YAG technology, making it safe and effective for a wide range of skin tones including darker skin types. We always conduct a thorough consultation and patch test before treatment.
Hormonal conditions such as PCOS can cause ongoing hair growth, particularly on the face, neck and body. While laser hair removal cannot stop the underlying hormonal cause, many clients experience a significant reduction in hair growth and find it much easier to manage. Some clients may require occasional maintenance sessions to maintain their results.
We use medical-grade Candela GentleMAX Pro technology because it combines Alexandrite and ND:YAG wavelengths, allowing us to safely treat a wider range of skin types while delivering effective long-term hair reduction. The advanced cooling system also helps improve comfort during treatment.

Laser hair removal delivers long-term hair reduction, but factors such as hormones, age and genetics can influence future hair growth. Some clients choose occasional maintenance sessions to maintain their results over time.
Unfortunately, laser hair removal requires pigment in the hair to work effectively. Very light blonde, red, white or grey hair doesn't contain enough melanin for the laser to target, meaning results will be minimal or none.
Yes. Shaving is encouraged between appointments if needed. We ask clients to avoid waxing, plucking or threading, as these methods remove the hair follicle that the laser needs to target.
We treat virtually all body areas including legs, underarms, bikini line, Brazilian, Hollywood, back, chest, abdomen, arms, face, and more. We'll discuss the most appropriate approach for your specific areas during your consultation.
Shave the area 24-48 hours before treatment. Avoid sun exposure, fake tan, and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks prior. Don't wax or pluck - the hair root needs to be present. Avoid retinoids and certain skincare products as advised at consultation.
Avoid heat (hot showers, saunas, exercise) for 24-48 hours. Apply SPF 50 to treated areas if they'll be exposed to sun. Avoid fake tan for 2 weeks. You may shave between sessions but do not wax or pluck.
The laser emits a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. This light energy is converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles that produce hairs - inhibiting or delaying future hair growth.
